Well, I have had no luck with my previous post therefore I will ask differently. Here goes:
Can anyone post pics of wall mounted LCD's (not inside cabinets), and possibly give me some guidance as to how you did it? I get a little nervous when drilling/cutting into something without having a clear understanding of how it's supposed to be done...not as daring as some of the others members here--maybe some day I will be. Thanks for all the wonderful posts/info thus far. _________________ Regards,

I don;t have any of my mounting, and she is in storage right now. I just used a standard mount from Walmart and 3/4" Wood screws into the laminate wall.
How about you post some pics of where you want to install your LCD and I'm sure your will get some input. _________________ Tim M

| I installed a flat panel in the v-birth of my 3375. I through-bolted the TV mount through the wall. I'll take a picture so you can see. |

I installed a 32 inch LCD beside the forward bedroom and I just drilled through the wall ,used a standard mounting bracket for that size TV and put 2 peices of starboard on the bedroom side of the 2 holes for extra strength. Added velcro on to the peices of starboard and stuck a small picture on it to hide the 2 white starboard strips.
One tip I might add....don't forget to use a lock washer or some kind of liquid that doesn't allow the bolts to back off on the tv bracket. The vibrations on the boat almost cost me a 32 inch headache !! _________________ 2000 3672

Thanks. Very good point about the bolts...I probably would have overlooked that until it was too late. Do you happen to have pics? _________________ Regards,

| I am throwing around the idea of adding a 32 or 37 inch LCD in our 3372 on the wall starboard of the cabin steps. The 340 SEA RAY has it mounted there attached firmly flush against the wall and it is very easily viewed from the v berth and also the dinette. Thru bolting the bracket would be fairly easy because the wall is the back side of the dashboard. Also power and cable connections would be close. |

I actually don't have pics with the tv installed that I can find quickly here. I'll look around a little harder. _________________ 2000 3672

Does your 3372 have the closet starboard of the wall you are referring to? I have a small closet behind the dinette, which swings open towards the bow, which leads me to believe I could probably get away with a 22 or 24 inch LCD so I still had access to the closet--anything bigger would probably not allow me to open it I think. This of course is an eyeball measurement. I would be interested in your thoughts. Thanks for the reply. _________________ Regards,

No worries. If you find them, it would be great to see them. Thanks for the reply. _________________ Regards,
